The Permanent Representative of Ghana to the United Nations, Ambassador Sam Kumah, received the Dag Hammarskjöld Medal on behalf of Warrant Officer Class One (WO1) George Anim of Ghana from the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres.

WO1 George Anim paid the ultimate price while serving with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). His courage, dedication, and selfless service in the pursuit of international peace and security will never be forgotten.
